Mental Health International

Mental Health International (MHI) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to tackling the tough, complex issues linked to managing, even preventing the 3D effects of brain-based mental disorders: disturbance, disablement and (premature) death.

Successor to the Global Business and Economic Roundtable on Mental Health that pioneered mental health in the workplace from 1998-2011 at which point, MHI was founded to lead a Pan-European business initiative to contain the effects of depression in the working population. Thereafter, MHI’s focus was primarily Canada and on March 1st, 2023, Mental Health International released a report -‘Mental Life in Canada’ - which proposed a science-business alliance focused on the prevention of mental health risks driven by society and its institutions - this, to define/promote the quality of mental life in Canada.’
